Shadows and Movement (2025)

A high-contrast monochrome play of shadows and movement with the sunshine of spring. Taken in early April in the Museumplein in Amsterdam.

This print has a simple surreal twist: the entire image is turned upside down. This trick makes the familiar world look strange and dreamlike, turning the brick road into a textured ceiling. The long, dark shadow seems to defy gravity, creating a unique and abstract piece of art from an everyday Amsterdam scene.
