For All The Ancestors We Ever Were (2025)
A striking, high-contrast monochrome image under the midday sun in Malta. It has the feel of a glamour magazine shot with a striking faux-pas. This intentional choice lets a deep shadow completely hide the figure's face giving her anonymity, and focusing attention on her form and the texture of the ancient stone wall. It also creates a mysterious "second self" in the shadow she casts, suggesting we are the sum of our ancestors' best parts—a living echo of our family trees.
